A Fiberglass Anticorrosive High-Pressure Fan is a centrifugal air-handling unit specifically engineered for environments containing strong corrosive gases or vapors, where metal fans would suffer rapid degradation. Utilizing fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for both the impeller and housing, this fan offers superior resistance to acids, alkalis, and salt mist while maintaining excellent mechanical strength and aerodynamic efficiency. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating, and wastewater treatment industries for exhaust and process ventilation.
The impeller design typically adopts a backward-curved blade configuration, achieving high pressure while maintaining stable flow and low noise. The fiberglass blades are precision-molded and balanced to ensure vibration-free operation. The volute casing is formed through a resin molding process, resulting in a seamless and airtight structure that prevents gas leakage. The fan shaft, bearings, and fasteners are made of stainless steel or anti-corrosion coated steel, further improving durability in aggressive chemical atmospheres.
Unlike conventional FRP fans designed for low pressure, this model is optimized for high-pressure applications, with pressure ratings from 2,000 to 8,000 Pa and airflows between 1,000 and 80,000 m³/h. The bearing chamber is mounted outside the airflow path to avoid contact with corrosive gases, and it can be equipped with air-cooling or water-cooling systems depending on the operating temperature. The motor is isolated using a flexible coupling or belt drive, ensuring safe operation and easy maintenance.
