The Fiberglass Induced Draft Fan is a high-performance exhaust system designed for environments requiring reliable and corrosion-resistant air extraction. Constructed primarily from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), this fan is engineered to handle corrosive gases, vapors, and particulate-laden air that cannot be managed by traditional metal fans. Its induced draft configuration allows it to draw contaminated air from ducts, scrubbers, or furnaces and expel it through exhaust systems under negative pressure, ensuring efficient air movement and safety in industrial processes.

The fan housing is molded from acid- and alkali-resistant FRP, providing long-term durability in chemical, wastewater treatment, and electroplating facilities. The impeller adopts a backward-curved blade design, precision-balanced to ensure high efficiency, stable airflow, and reduced vibration during prolonged operation. The shaft and fasteners are made of stainless steel or coated carbon steel, which improves structural rigidity while resisting corrosion from humid or chemical-laden airflows.

This induced draft fan is typically coupled with a direct-drive or belt-driven motor, depending on the airflow and pressure requirements. Motors can be configured as standard, explosion-proof, or variable-frequency models to adapt to different industrial needs. Air volumes range from 1,000 to 80,000 m³/h, with total pressures reaching up to 3,000 Pa. For high-temperature applications, the fan can be custom-built with thermal-resistant resin and enhanced bearing systems.

Applications include chemical gas extraction, scrubber exhaust, wastewater odor control, and industrial ventilation systems where negative pressure exhaust is necessary. The FRP Induced Draft Fan offers a balance of mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and operational efficiency, making it a preferred choice for industries requiring stable and continuous air handling performance.
