The High Pressure Fiberglass Centrifugal Fan is a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant blower designed for processes requiring both high static pressure and chemical resistance. Constructed primarily from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), it combines the aerodynamic efficiency of a centrifugal fan with the chemical durability of composite materials. This fan is widely used in chemical scrubber systems, laboratory exhaust, electroplating lines, and marine facilities where corrosive gases must be conveyed under pressure.
The impeller employs backward-curved or radial blades, precisely molded from reinforced FRP for mechanical stability. The volute casing is integrally formed through resin molding, ensuring a leak-free and rigid structure. The fan shaft, bearings, and fasteners are fabricated from stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Bearings are isolated from the gas stream and lubricated for long-term service. The motor is mounted outside the airflow and connected via coupling or belt drive, minimizing the risk of gas ingress.
The high-pressure design enables the fan to operate under static pressures between 2,000 and 8,000 Pa, with airflow capacities ranging from 800 m³/h to 70,000 m³/h. The aerodynamic structure ensures smooth flow transitions and high efficiency while minimizing noise and vibration. Optional features include sound insulation, water-cooled bearings, and corrosion-resistant coatings for extreme chemical conditions.
