The Corrosion Resistant High Pressure FRP Fan is an industrial-grade centrifugal fan meticulously engineered for environments that demand both high static pressure and superior chemical resistance. Constructed from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), this fan is designed to withstand continuous exposure to corrosive gases, chemical vapors, and acid or alkali mists. Its robust structure and aerodynamic efficiency make it an essential component in industries such as chemical processing, electroplating, semiconductor fabrication, and wastewater treatment.
The fan housing is manufactured using high-strength FRP materials through precision molding processes, resulting in a seamless, corrosion-resistant structure. The impeller adopts a backward-curved blade design, fabricated from the same high-performance FRP resin system, ensuring high mechanical integrity and smooth airflow under high pressure conditions. All metallic components in contact with the airflow are made from stainless steel 304/316 or polymer-coated alloys to prevent corrosion over extended service periods.
Operating on the centrifugal principle, the fan converts kinetic energy into static pressure efficiently, delivering airflows up to 100,000 m³/h with pressures reaching 3,000–4,000 Pa, depending on configuration. Bearings are mounted outside the airstream and fitted with high-quality grease seals to protect against chemical infiltration. For volatile or hazardous environments, an explosion-proof motor or variable frequency drive (VFD) can be integrated to provide safe and energy-efficient performance.
